Barbara Randle Partlow, age 81, went to be with her Heavenly Father on October 4th,2016. Her family and friends were with her and she made the entrance to Heaven peacefully with no pain. She was born in Levy, Arkansas, March 18,1935 and was a resident of Hot Springs Village and a loving member of Balboa Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Eunice Randle.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Harry Partlow of Hot Springs Village, a son and daughter in-law, Scott Partlow and Janet of Willis, Texas, four grandchildren, Ryan (Anna) Partlow, Megan Partlow, Nicole Partlow and Connor Partlow. She also leaves her sister, Gwen Moore Blakely of Hot Springs Village and a brother Jerry Randle (Gayle) of High Point, North Carolina. In addition she had several nieces and nephews Stephanie Moore of Hot Springs and a great niece Grace Anne Randle. Her nephews include Steve Moore (Gail) of Lewisville, Texas and Jarrod (Misty) Randle of Raleigh North Carolina. Great Nephews include Justin Moore of Jonesboro, Ark. and a great nephew Aaron Randle.
Barb (as she was affectionately called) graduated from Fairview High School in Camden, Arkansas where she was very involved in student activities including being a cheerleader.
At Balboa Baptist Church she participated in the Celebration Choir, the Welcome Sunday School Class and was on Touch Team Committees. In addition she enjoyed playing bridge, and entertaining.
Barb was known as one of the sweetest, kindest people whom you could depend on when there was a need. Her friends loved her because of her compassionate personality and service to others. Barb was always the first one “at the door” to help if necessary. She had a soft, sweet, gentle voice. She was an encourager, a good friend and lots of fun to be with. She may have had a soft voice but her laughter could fill a room!!! The last few years Barb had various illnesses which she struggled with. However she was always optimistic and loved her family as well as her Heavenly Father.
That laughter is now joining the Heavens as she gets reunited with her friends and family who have gone before her.
Her family, friends, and the people of Balboa Baptist Church will miss her, but will also remember the various blessings they had just by knowing Barb.
Visitation is 12:15 – 1:15 in the church parlor. Funeral services will be held at Balboa Baptist Church at 1:30 on Saturday, October 8th with Dr. Denny Moore officiating.
There will be no graveside services.
